Referral policies
Use the links below to review the Turning Point referral polices for services provided in Hertfordshire:
Carers Short Break: Other mental health specialist teams are welcome to contact us about potential referrals Click here to view the policy.
Housing Link: You are welcome to contact us directly, by phone or in person. We also accept referrals from any agency or individual. Click here to view the policy
The Internet Project: Referrals can be made via West Hertfordshire community mental health teams in the following areas: Dacorum, St Albans, Watford & Bushey and Three Rivers. Click here to view the policy.
Midpoint: Referrals are accepted countywide. Click here to view the policy.
Support Link: Referrals are accepted for clients with severe and enduring mental health difficulties, with a history of associated offending and/or difficulties around their drug/alcohol use. Click here to view the policy.
Young Onset Dementia: The main route for referrals is via the Specialist Mental Health Teams for Older People. Carers are actively involved in the referral process and ideally they will have already had a carer’s assessment which will have identified a need for this service. Click here to view the policy.
